When you’re applying to college, don’t forget to:
- Apply early! Deadlines are the latest date at which you can apply to enter college in fall of 2015 and still qualify for scholarships. There may be earlier priority deadlines. Keep in mind that you will probably have to file the FAFSA by March 10 to be eligible for scholarships, and you may have to fill out a separate scholarship application. Call the admissions office if you’re not sure when to apply or what forms to fill out.
- Check out the campus visit checklist and try to visit all colleges you’re seriously considering.
- See if you qualify for common application fee waivers.
- Don’t be scared by tuition rates. Most students qualify for financial aid. Use the Indiana College Costs Estimator at LearnMoreIndiana.org/costs to see what your expected financial aid will be for any Indiana college.
