HSE and Adult Education

FREE DAYTIME & EVENING CLASSES OFFERED YEAR ROUND

Earn your Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma (IHSED) (formerly GED).  Improve your English, Math, and Reading skills at your convenience. Friendly and supportive staff are ready to assist you with the next steps for your educational journey.

To begin classes, register in person at the Hancock Learning Center or call 317-477-0608 to learn more. Classes are offered right in Hancock County!

Mon-Thu: 9:00AM-12:00noon            Mon-Thu: 5:30-8:30PM

Students age 16 & 17 must interview with the coordinator of the program and bring a copy of their exit interview form from an accredited school.

  • The current version of the GED® test expired at the end of 2013 and your scores expired too if you didn’t finish and pass the test before the end of the year. As of January 1, 2014, there is a new high school equivalency test – Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC).

  • Did you know- Indiana Adult Education programs provide math, reading, and writing instruction free of charge to help you acquire the skills needed to earn a HSE, go to college, or enter an entry-level occupational certification program.
