Official Name: LINK- Leaders in Navigating Knowledge
The concept for LINK was formalized in October of 2009 with incorporation from the Indiana Secretary of State, and founded as a Non-for-Profit 501(c)(3) in July of 2010. As a countywide organization, LINK tailors services and programs to meet flexible needs and offer resources and assistance in college degree programs, life-long learning programs, career counseling, and business programs. LINK recognizes that everyone can learn, and Hancock County needs postsecondary education to enhance economic development of the county. It is our belief that people inherently want to improve and need support for postsecondary education. LINK hopes to serve as the premiere one-stop-shop for postsecondary education programs, support, and information for residents, businesses, organizations, and government agencies of Hancock County.
LINK is an advocate for post-secondary education in Hancock County and beyond, promoting affordability and accessibility of programs, courses, and services. The mission of Hancock County LINK is to ensure unlimited postsecondary educational opportunities for all adult learners in Hancock County by serving as a network agency that navigates postsecondary educational and workforce training programs available to county residents and businesses.
