Vincennes University will offer Dental Assisting with Radiology Certification Training Program in Greenfield for Spring 2014
HANCOCK COUNTY- The 17-week course is a noncredit program that prepares students for an entry-level position in one of the fastest growing healthcare careers. This course includes a state approved education program, which provides students the proper training to be a Limited Dental Radiographer. The purpose of this 102-hour course is to familiarize students with all areas of entry-level dental assisting, and provides training in the professional skills required to function as an assistant in the dental practice. Upon successful completion of program, students will receive a VU Certificate of Completion and be eligible to sit for the dental radiographer certification exam.
The course fee is $2,099, and includes textbooks. Funding is available for tuition for those who qualify, and interested individuals should apply at WorkOne (call Judy 317-462-7711, x. 313).
Dates and times are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 – 9PM, February 4 thru June 12. (No class March 17 thru 28.) ALL classes will be held at Hancock Regional Hospital, 801 N. State St., Greenfield, IN.
