The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the application used by nearly all colleges and universities to determine eligibility for federal, state, and college-sponsored financial aid, including grants, educational loans, and work-study programs. To be considered for aid, anyone planning on attending college in the fall of 2019 or the spring of 2020 should plan to complete their FAFSA by March 10, 2019.
On February 2nd, 2019, from 10:00am – 2:00pm LINK is hosting FAFSA DAY to make the filing process a little less intimidating. Experts from the National Center for College Costs will be present to assist students and adults complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA DAY takes place at the Hancock County Public Library. This opportunity is specifically designed for adult students who are interested in continuing or beginning to pursue an education beyond high school.
